Auzentech Vr Fidelity USB Speakerphone White Review

Auzentech Vr Fidelity USB Speakerphone White | Gavin Seim Gavin Seim's Review Auzentech Vr Fidelity USB Speakerphone White Review from Gavin Seim Gavin Seim. Good idea but has problems, The VR fidelity will work well for you if your uses are simple like just having it sit on your desk, and doing person to person calls with the built in speaker.

Th lack comes when you want to go beyond that. I experiment with various phones and voip units that will alow for group conferencing with multiple people in a room. This started when I realized that polycom units are a rip off and are often very lacking for their price.

This unit has an jack for an external connection, but it only works for headphones because if you hook and external speaker to it (which is very important when you want a whole room to hear) the echo suppression does not work. This was very stupid of blue gears as it would have been very simple to allow for an external speaker while skyping. The unit also could have benefited from an external mic out which would have added very little to the cost.

I mossed the unit my adding a mic out, but is is still a flop since I cant connect a speaker without a echo for the person on the other end.

Bottom line is that the VR fidelity could be great, but they have to go back to start and fix some major problems. An external speaker out with echo suppression. is a must, and a mic out would be good.

If you want a basic unit for your desk this will probably suit you well. It looks good, is plug n play, and works on the mac. If you need something with an output that works check out the minivox usb speakerphone
